Bayhave Yourself - Brigs

Course 3

Bayhave Yourself

Tobermory to Parry Sound

Summer Voyages on TS Playfair and STV Pathfinder are the core of our program and provide an experience unlike any other. You will be an active member of the crew and live, eat and sleep onboard our Tall Ship. By the end of a voyage, you will know the fundamentals of how to sail a Tall Ship and be certified as a Brigs ‘Lead Hand’.

But it’s not all sailing! Activities during your voyage will include swimming, singing, campfires and exploring ports and anchorages throughout the Great Lakes.

Trip Description

Set off from the bustling tourist town of Tobermory and see where the wind takes you on. From open water sailing across Georgian Bay, to the islands of the North Channel, you will learn how the wind and weather influences your course.

On long voyages like this, you will truly learn the ropes and have the chance to take on greater independence, responsibility, and more advanced aspects of tall ship sailing.

Destinations are always weather dependent but we can expect to visit places like Lake Topaz or Bridal Veil Falls, or even circumnavigate Manitoulin Island if the conditions are right. The course ends with a challenging sail through rocky passages into the stunning sailing grounds of Parry Sound.
