62nd AGM and Spring Fundraiser featuring Adam Shoalts

It's a wrap! Thank you to everyone who attended the 62nd AGM and Spring Fundraiser featuring adventurer Adam Shoalts this past Wednesday. Together you raised $14,000 to help keep Brigs Youth Sail Training affordable and accessible to Ontario's young people.

Adam kept us both amazed and amused, signed books, and chatted with our youth crew about the way he approaches the risks inherent in his solo expeditions.

We would like to thank our Board of Directors for their commitment to our young people, Ian Hamilton for sponsoring the day, our amazing youth and adult volunteers, our donors both new and old, our staff, and the Hamilton-Oshawa Port Authority and Breakwater Financial whose support underpins our operations.

We hope everyone enjoyed the evening and had a chance to speak to the youth crew members in attendance.

If you couldn't make the AGM, the 2023 Financial Statements are available at www.brigs.ca/reports.
