Trip Description

Learn to sail a tall ship and enjoy a night on the water for a unique outdoor experience this summer - no experience necessary. Join a group of young adults for a fun weekend of setting sails, climbing in the rigging ,steering the ship, and cooking and sleeping on a brigantine. Experience life on a tall ship and enjoy the outdoors. Meals are provided.

 Taking place in our home port of Hamilton, you you will depart the ship with new found skills and knowledge of tall ship sailing, along with memories to last a lifetime.

Funded spots for BIPOC

Our mission is to bring together members of the community, from diverse backgrounds, and experiences through sail training. To recognize intersecting barriers is working to make sailing and the outdoors more accessible to the majority.

We are offering fully funded (free to you) spots to BIPOC/Racialized folks on our 2026 Adult Voyages. There are two berths per voyage.

Please note the following:

Cost is per trainee in Canadian dollars ($CAD) and does not include HST. A deposit of $75 will be required to complete booking. The full price of our adult voyages helps support our main mission of providing affordable and free sailing adventures to youth from all backgrounds.

Course itineraries are approximate and subject to change according to schedule and weather conditions.

Participants are responsible for their own transportation to and from the vessel.
