Day sails are a 'taster' experience of the Brigs program, giving an opportunity to see if a longer summer course would be your thing! Each year we offer overnight voyages and tall ship camp for youth aged 12 to 18, along with a couple overnight Adult Sails!

The schedule for all day sails is:
- 20mins Before Departure - Arrive at vessel, check-in
- Departure time - embark, safety briefing and basic training
- Vessel departs dock - work with crew to get vessel out on the water
- Sailing time! - Learn how to manoeuvre a tall ship, haul lines and set sails with our skilled youth crew
- Vessel returns to dock - Put your new skills to work and help moor the vessel once again
- Disembark - and dream about a summer on the water ;)

Packing list for day sails:
- Sun protection (ie hat, sunglasses, sunscreen) as it can get bright on the water.
- Water bottle
- Sturdy close-toed shoes
- Rain jacket
- Warmer clothes/layers (ie t-shirt, long sleeved shirt, cardigan). It can be windier and cooler on the water.
- Any required medication
- All safety equipment will be provided onboard

- If a day sail is sold out it will not appear below. We regularly add new day sails, so check back again soon!
- Please complete a profile for each person for whom you are purchasing a ticket. Tickets cannot be bought in bulk, only 1 ticket per person per sail.
- All of our programs are only for those aged 12+ and run rain or shine, so be prepared with appropriate attire if the weather predicts inclement weather. The programming is very hands-on as we are a sail training organization. We do not offer pleasure cruises.
- For your safety and for the best experience, please determine your level of physical fitness as sails are hands-on. You must be fit enough to climb ladders and move around. - Smoking and the consumption of alcohol/other controlled substances is not permitted on board.
