Summer Voyages on TS Playfair are the core of our program and provide an experience unlike any other. You will be an active member of the crew and live, eat and sleep onboard our Tall Ship. By the end of a voyage, you will know the fundamentals of how to sail a tall ship. But it’s not all sailing! Activities during your voyage also include swimming, campfires, singing, and exploring ports and anchorages throughout the Great Lakes.

Brigs is a registered charity dedicated to reducing financial barriers to adventure and personal development experiences for young people. Our purpose is to deliver challenging adventure leadership programs on board our tall ships for youth aged 13 - 18, regardless of financial background. All youth voyage fees are already subsidized by fundraising, and financial assistance is available to any youth to cover part or all of the remaining fee on a needs-based basis.
