Trip Description

Enjoy the last days of summer on the open waters of Lake Huron and Lake Erie, with a unique voyage through the industrial heartland of the Detroit River in between.

Leaving from Kincardine, you’ll sail south towards the St. Clair and Detroit Rivers, where you’ll get an up close glimpse of the industrial landscape and huge cargo ships transporting the materials our societies are built on across the continent.

Learn to navigate the seaway as we pass below impressive illuminated bridges and salute the cargo ships that pass us by.

Exit the Detroit River and spend the last fewdays and nights on an open lake passage ending in the seaway town of Port Colborne, Ontario.
